Suddenly at Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the age of 52. Beloved husband, partner, and best friend of Diane. Proud father of James (Christina) and Matthew (Tiffany). Dear son of Nelly and the late Bert van Barneveld. Loving brother of Angela (late Greg) and Christina; and brother-in-law to Darlene, Doug (Tina), Bonnie (Marc Andre), and Jimmy. Luke will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and by his "Big Luke's Family". Please join his family in celebrating the life of "Big Luke" with food, drink and song at the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 12-4 PM. Memorial donations to CHEO or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
