Sincere condolences to Shirley and family. The memories i have of Beatrice are the family meals we had together, sitting outside with her and drinking lemonade. She worked tirelessly cutting grass,.She loved sitting in her porch, sometimes falling asleep, taking walks with her dog Muffin early in the morning, going to church every Sundays, always keeping herself busy. She loved going to the Glen Nevis social helping out and chatting with others. May you rest in peace. Love Mariette.

My sisters & I were so saddened to learn of Auntie Beattie's passing. Our visits from Winnipeg were few and far between but we have fond memories we'll keep in our hearts... our early morning walks with her & Muffin down Butternut Lane, trudging through farmers' fields to find the first Glengarry settler's monument, helping her get ready for her childhood school's costume party and learning about our family history to name just a few. I hope she's having a wonderful reunion with our Dad (John Alfred) who predeceased her thirty-eight years ago. With love & condolences from her niece Sharon xoxo

Aunty Beattie graciously hosted me and my sisters when we visited several times over the years. She was generous with her home, her time, her humour, her stories, and her spirit. Always humming a tune she was a hard worker and kept an immaculate house. She never shied away from an adventure and she made every visit fun and interesting. We exchanged letters from time to time and I am grateful for our relationship and time we had. I will miss her. I hope she has found the rest she deserves and is celebrating a reunion with my dad and others gone before her. My deepest condolences to Shirley and the rest of her family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Aunt Beadie - dog lover, Conway Twitty fan, strong-willed and fiercely independent. Always willing to give a helping hand when needed. She did the best she could with the understanding and awareness she had. I pray you are content and at peace with Uncle Lionel, cousin Wayne, Uncle Johnny, Uncle Robert, Grandma and Grandpa.
Rest easy, love your niece Roxanne and your sister Elaine XOXO

Q: How did you meet Beatrice?
A: My husband and Ross met Beatrice in 1999 when we introduce ourselves in renting her mom,' and Dad's house and she rented it to us and then from then on we became friends and she would have be over for a cup of tea and help out when ever I needed help. She was a beautiful woman and I appreciate all she did for Ross and I. Love and miss you Beatrice and may you RIP.
