My sympathies to Susan and Diane and their families. Very sad to hear of Annette's passing but I have lots of good memories of her and Angus with my Mom and Dad having a good time together, I can only hope they're all together again. Sending hugs to you all. Lynne Hurtubise & Andre Poirier

My sweet and lovely Sunflower Lady, how sad I am to see you go! I will miss you dearly - the sound of your cadillac-walker coming around the corner daily, sometimes with a treat or a newspaper clipping to share with me. Always with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face.
I will never forget the day I took you to the sunflower fields, and we sat for 20 minutes, just holding hands, marveling at the sight of sunflowers for as far as our eyes could see. You told me that day that you imagined that's what Heaven would look like, and I think you were very right.
You reminded me often that you were "almost 100, you know." And I would smile, and say, "I KNOW! And I want to be just like you when I grow up!"
Always ready for an adventure well into your 90's - a trip to the Sugar Bush, or the casino, or out to lunch with friends. Covid slowed things down a bit, and you took to knitting tiny newborn baby hats. I was able to pass along a couple of those hats to sweet newborns, including my own grandson. But before we delivered them, you would stand with me, and we would pray for "a 100 years of wisdom" for the recipent of that hat.
I'll miss seeing you in your alcove as I came into the building, sitting at your table working on a jigsaw puzzle.
Susan, it was such a pleasure and privilege to get to know you as you came more often to be with your mom as the years went by. What a strong, lovely lady she raised - she was so proud of you and of Erin and Andrea too. You were a constant strength in her life, and she was blessed by a few of them, including Ed - evidence of her lovely countenance.
I will miss her so much - thank you so much for sharing her with me.
All my love,
Betsy

Dear Annette you shared your life with us the Chateau Glengarry for a short while but your memory will stay in our hearts for ever especially your kind words of appreciation to the staff and always letting us know how happy you were in your new home.
Mostly I will miss your smile and that little wink that came with it. Rest In Peace my sweet lady.
Diane St-Denis, staff and residents. Our deepest condolences to those her were closest to her heart.
