Obituary of Marion MacGillivray
Peacefully, with family at her bedside, at Maxville Manor on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021. Marion MacGillivray (née McKinnon) of Alexandria, at the age of 89. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Allister MacGillivray. Loving mother of Audrey Westgate (Ron), Gwen Englehart (Ian), Phyllis Labine (Kerry), and Heather MacGillivray- Houlzet (Andre). Proud grandmother of Steven Westgate (Angie), Kelly Astorino (J.P.), Corey Englehart, Jennifer Brancati (Jamie), Emily and Kyle Labine, and Rachel and Matthew Houlzet; and great grandmother of Jesse and Noah Westgate, Olivia, Lucas and Ruby Astorino, and Mila & Olivia Brancati. Dear oldest sister of the late John, the late Donald (late Moreen), the late Ruthanna, Elizabeth Rice (Gord), Linda Overcash (Wayne), Keith (Barb) and Ann MacMillan (Jim). Daughter of the late Christina (née Fraser) and the late John Alexander McKinnon. Marion will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, extended family, the congregation of St. Columba Presbyterian, and her many friends and neighbours. In keeping with Marion’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
