Obituary of Roderick Neil MacKay

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Roderick Neil MacKay, who passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the age of 78.

Loving husband of Heather Ann MacKay (née Stephenson).

Beloved father of Bridget MacKay (Charles), Ashley Hoar (Derek), Tiffany MacKay Machell (Walter) and Heidi MacKay (Heather).

Adored Popa of Zackarie, Lilly, MacKayla, Tessa, and Jaxson.

Dear brother of Donald MacKay (Kory), Allan MacKay (Yvonne), Mary Shaw (Mike), Marguerite MacKay and Belle Robidoux.

Neil will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Robert and Helen (née MacLennan) MacKay. Also predeceased by his siblings Joan Martin, Isabel MacKay, John MacKay, Anne Levac and Frances MacKay.

Relatives and friends are asked to gather at the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, ON K0C 1A0 (613) 525-3400 on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. followed by refreshments.
