Obituary of Fernand Campeau

At the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Saturday, October 19th, 2013, Fernand Campeau of Dalhousie Station, QC passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Lucette Lajoie. Loving father of Nicole and André (Johanne), both of Dalhousie, Richard (Christianne) of Valleyfield, and Peter (Diane) of Green Valley. Proud grandfather of Lee (Katie), Dean (Kirsty), Sophie, Patrick (Jessica), Stéphane (Sophie), Annick (David), Mélissa, Karine (Patrick), and Geneviève (Charles); and great grandfather of Kelly, Lindsay, Matthew, Camille, Aimerik, Daphne, Jayden, and Étienne. Dear brother of Ernest (Jean), Réjeanne (Aurèle Lajoie), and the late Réal (late Gloria); and brother-in-law of Hubert (Shirley), the late Rolland (late Marie-Ange), the late Conrad (Veronica), the late Roger (late Lucille), the late René (Béatrice), the late Elaine (Claude Lalonde), and the late Jean (Micheline). Loving son of the late Raoul and Antoinette (née Chevrier) Campeau. Family and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 9-10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Église Catholique St-Telésphore, St-Télesphore, QC on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Cimetière Paroissiale St-Télesphore. In memory of Fernand, memorial donations to Community Nursing Home (Residents' Fund) would be appreciated by the family.
