Obituary of Roderick Poitras

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the age of 74.  To mourn his passing, he leaves his two beloved sons Erick (Pamela) and Dominic (Roxanne); his two cherished grandchildren Sofia and Gabriel; his best friend Claudette; as well as his three sisters Anne Marie, Celine and Alice.  Dear son of the late Noé and Anita (née Levesque) Poitras. Predeceased by his brother Fernand.  Roderick will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.  In keeping with Roderick’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Paisiblement à la maison, entouré de ses proches, Roderick Poitras est décédé, le 23 juillet 2019 à l’âge de 74 ans au terme d’une vie comblée.  Il laisse dans le deuil, ses enfants Erick (Pamela), Dominic (Roxanne), ses petits- enfants adorés et dont il était si fier, Sofia et Gabriel, sa meilleure amie Claudette ainsi que ses sœurs Anne-Marie, Céline et Alice.  Fils bien-aimé de feu  Noé et Anita Poitras (née Lévesques).  Précédé dans la mort par son frère Fernand.  On se souviendra de Roderick comme d un homme juste, passionné et passionnant, un ami sincère, un père aimant et dévoué.  Un service funèbre privé aura lieu.
