Obituary of Thomas Fraser Curran

Peacefully, at the Maxville Manor on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the age of 93.  Beloved husband and best friend of over 65 years to the late Phyllis Iris Curran (née Carkner).  Loving father of the late Robert Stuart Curran.  Son of the late Samuel James and the late Annie Elizabeth (née Fletcher) Curran. Dear brother of the late Stuart James Curran (late Elsie). Thomas will be fondly remembered by his niece Doris Curran (Dave Gray); his late wife’s extended Carkner Family; his many nieces, nephews and cousins; and by his many friends and neighbours. Family and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 7-9 pm and on Friday, March 15, from 10-11 am.  A Celebration of Thomas’ Life will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11 am.  The Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating.  A reception will follow.  A private interment will be held in the spring at North Branch Cemetery, Martintown.  In memory of Thomas, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
