Au Campus Civic de l’Hôpital d’Ottawa, le dimanche 15 juillet 2018, est décédé à l’âge de 79 ans M.Fernand Roméo Campeau de Cornwall, anciennement d’Alexandria.Il laisse dans le deuil Lyse Beaupré (née Marleau) de Cornwall, sa conjointe des 43 dernières années, sa fille Sylvie Beaupré d’Alexandria et son fils Jean-François Beaupré, d’Orléans, Ontario.Regretté grand-père de Justin Lajoie (Rand Pasha) de Calgary, Simon-Pierre Lajoie (Dayna Loney) de Fredericton, MarieÈve Lajoie (Jean-Luc Pilote) de Québec; fier arrière-grand-père de Xavier Fernand Lajoie, de Calgary.
Précédé dans la mort par son petit-fils Félix Beaupré;ses soeurs Fernande Cuerrier (feu William) et Murielle Campeau;et par ses parents Ovila et Rosalba (née Leblanc) Campeau. Parents et amis sont invités au SALON FUNÉRAIRE GLENGARRY,580, rue Main.S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 le vendredi 20 juillet 2018 de 14 h à 16 h & de 19 h à 21 h; samedi, de midi à 13 h 30.Une célébration chrétienne de funérailles aura lieu en l’église Sacré-Coeur d’Alexandria le samedi 21 juillet 2018 à 14 h.Une réception suivra en la salle paroissiale Sacré-Coeur.
L’inhumation privé aura lieu à une date ultérieure.  En souvenir de Fernand, la famille apprécierait des dons faits à l’Institut de cardiologie de l’Université d’Ottawa ou à la Fondation de l’Hôpital d’Ottawa.

At the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus on Sunday, July 15, 2018.  Fernand Romeo Campeau of Cornwall, formerly of Alexandria; at the age of 79.  Beloved common law husband of 43 years to Lyse Beaupré (née Marleau) of Cornwall.  Loving father of Sylvie Beaupré of Alexandria and Jean-François Beaupre of Orleans ON.  Cherished grandfather of Justin Lajoie (Rand Pasha) of Calgary, Simon-Pierre Lajoie (Dayna Loney) of Fredericton, Marie-Ève Lajoie (Jean-Luc Pilote) of Québec City; and proud great grandfather of Xavier Fernand Lajoie of Calgary.  Predeceased by his grandson Felix Beaupré; his sisters Fernande Cuerrier (late William) and Murielle Campeau; and by his parents Ovila and Rosalba (née Leblanc) Campeau.  Family and friends are invited to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 - 1:30 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2 pm.  A reception will follow at the Sacré Coeur Parish Hall.  A private interment will be held at a later date. In memory of Fernand, donations made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
