Obituary of Marcel Douaire

Peacefully, at the Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the age of 76.  He will be greatly missed by his wife Christine; his children Chantal, Maryse (Marc), Andrew (Tina), Corrina (Jay), David (Samantha) and Paul (Mandie); loving Opa to Jonathan, Jean Sebastien, Tyler, Jessie, Dakota (Christine) , Kitana, Jory, Haley, Cole, Ashton, Brodie, Nathan, Kiera, Bella, Logan, Lana, Jacob and Lyv; his dogs Max, Charlie, Zander and Sandie; his cat Lillibett; his birds Freddy, Wilma and Blue; and by his many friends.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.  God opened the gates to heaven and said: “Marcel, come home to me”.  A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands now rest.  Although it’s hard to understand God always takes the best.  In our hearts, you’ll live forever, we’ll miss you.

A Celebration of Marcel’s Life will be held at a later date.
