Peacefully, at The Ottawa Hospital – General Campus on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 70. Beloved husband and best friend of Lois MacMaster. Loving father of Trevor (Josée), Rory (Lynn) and Carly. Proud grandfather of Josh, Kaitlyn, Addison and Calla. Dear brother of Ronald (Rhoda), the late Dianne and Kathy. Son of the late Mae Catherine (née McDonald) and the late Paul Emile Levert. Roger will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews; his many friends and neighbours; and by his former colleagues at the Alexandria Police / OPP. A Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held in the Reception Centre of the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, ON (613) 525-3400 on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 1-5 pm. Memorial donations made to Diabetes Canada, the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
